I Think I'm Addicted...

...to stupid, nonsensical, pointless, ridiculous television.  As I sit here, I'm watching The Little Couple on TLC that's been DVR'd.  I actually DVR The Little Couple...seriously, why?  While it is a cute show which follows a couple who are little people, it's pointless.  And, to drive my point of my addiction even further home, let's peruse my current DVR list. 

It's Me or the Dog
DogTown
Dogs 101
Dog Whisperer (Do you think I like dogs?)
The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love (seriously, I don't watch these...I can't stand Jake--total drama queen)
Top Chef
Project Runway
Gene Simmons: Family Jewels (does anyone know if this is coming back anytime?)
The Amazing Race
The Biggest Loser
Toddlers & Tiaras (really Nickie?)
Bathroom Renovations
Kitchen Renovations

This list doesn't even count the 12 or so shows that my kids record.

I'm thinking one of my monthly resolutions this year will be to scale back...this is just stupid!

    I had to laugh when I read this because we watch a lot of the same shows. I don't think I'm embarrassed by them, though. DVR has replaced going out to bars. LOL

    DVR'd shows:
    The Bachelor/Bachelorette (have to reset each season)
    Celebrity Apprentice (ditto)
    Amazing Race (ditto)
    Survivor (ditto)
    Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (ditto)
    Judge Judy
    Little People, Big World
    The Little Couple

    18 Kids and Counting
    The Locator
    Top Chef
    Iron Chef America
    The Next Iron Chef (ditto)

    Then there are the shows that I watch all of the time but I don't DVR:

    30 Minute Meals
    House Hunters
    House Hunters International
    Property Virgins
    My First House

    I'm sure there are more that I'm forgetting. You are right, though, after looking at this list I realize that I do watch a lot of TV.
